Usually they are built for portability not endurance, that's true.  I'm finding that sitting the device on a cold metal surface, say an unused system case under the desk, keeps them cool enough.  I'm using a mobile phone that my youngest son has successfully smashed the living snot out of, and last night added another (he won't buy a damn case for his phones!  ^' and keeps dropping them) newer one.  It's a good thing he's buying his own phones though as he's buying top of the line ones outright every time he replaces one he's smashed.  I simply couldn't afford to do that.

Grats to everyone on their badges!  ><{

I managed to get my 10 year on SSC before temps forced me to run only 28 cores at night only. Still have managed to get another year on SSC. While the project seems to indicate more work coming it worries me I won't have a chance at the 20 year. I won't get another 9 years between now and cooler temps.

One can do only what one can do.  g7w

Cheers!  ^)(^
